Dr. RB. Hernandez integrates an extensive background in transformation through the art and science of the spoken word, integration of expression of character, and maintaining authenticity. This is known in analytic circles as the “ego-Self axis.” Dr. RB has over 25 years of training and expertise in his field. He is deeply passionate about helping those tired of living life as usual and pretending to be someone they're not. Dr. RB is known for being engaging and challenging, gently pushing individuals toward personal, professional, and spiritual growth. He enjoys giving seminars and training sessions to enhance knowledge and challenge individuals to dream, imagine, and live from their true selves. It is through this authenticity that one can express their true nature. Dr. RB Hernandez has been a licensed psychologist in private practice since 2005. He holds a Doctor of Psychology degree and is licensed in Florida and New York, a member of the American Psychological Association and trained by the Inter-Regional Association of Jungian Analysts. He is a sought-after keynote speaker in Portuguese, Spanish, and English, which keeps his passion for development, training, and education alive in the public arena.

Dr. Hernandez (she/he) received a doctorate in School Psychology and a master's degree in Educational Psychology at Indiana University, Bloomington. As an undergraduate, Dr. Hernandez studied Secondary Education and Women, Gender, and Sexuality Studies at Gettysburg College. Her clinical psychology internship was completed at a residential treatment facility that centered on animal-assisted therapy and nature-based interventions. In practice, Dr. Hernandez has developed a focus on working with queer and trans individuals, especially those living with intersectional marginalized identities. This is a journey he continues on every day as he keeps up with professional training, current events, and clinical considerations. In addition to private practice, Dr. Hernandez also works as a clinician, clinical supervisor, and diagnostic specialist with a university in a diverse Chicago suburb. Personally, Dr. Hernandez identifies as a queer, asexual, polyamorous, Boricua. In her free time, she enjoys making art, skating, playing with clothes, being in the woods, and visiting friends.
